Manuel Varner 

Manuel Varner, a resident of Richland Township, near Elton, this county, died 
of consumption Wednesday.  Mr. Varner was 50 years of age and for some 
time had been in very poor health.  He is survived by his wife who is a sister 
of Mrs. John Lehman of Ebensburg.  The funeral will take place from the 
Evangelical church at Elton at 10 o'clock Saturday morning and interment will 
be made in the Lutheran cemetery at that place. Mr. and Mrs. John Lehman 
left Ebensburg for Elton Thursday and will attend the funeral.
