Friday, 7 Dec 1906 Volume 40, Number 49 Frederick Veigle Dies at Lilly Frederick Veigle, a well known citizen of Lilly, died at his home in that place Tuesday morning at 12:30 o'clock after an illness of considerable length. A few days ago Mr. Veigle called his wife and made all arrangements for his funeral, selecting Undertaker J. E. Lowery of Lilly as the man who was to be in charge of the burial of his body. Frederick Veigle was born in Germany, but spent the greater portion of his life in America. He was employed for about forty years on the Pittsburg Division of the Pennsylvania Railroad, being placed on the company's pension list three or four year ago. The deceased was a brother-in-law of the late Andrew Foster, for many years a prominent business man of Johnstown. Mr. Veigle is survived by his wife, whose maiden name was Mary Foster and by five sons and four daughters. The funeral took place at 2 o'clock this afternoon from the Lilly Lutheran church, of which Mr. Veigle served for many years as an officer. His pastor, the Rev. J. A. Dunlap, D. D., conducted the obsequies and the remains were laid to rest in the Lillydale cemetery where the remains of his son and a sister repose.
