Death at Almshouse 

Mrs. Eliza Von Leiden, eighty-five years old, died about 3 
o'clock Monday afternoon at the almshouse.  She was a 
native of Ireland and was admitted from Lilly about 
eighteen or twenty years ago.  Her death followed an 
illness of about two weeks.  She had no relatives in this 
country and her remains were buried Tuesday in the cemetery 
on the poor house grounds.
