Gilbert A. Wadsworth At 1:00 a. m. Wednesday, 816 Sherman St., Johnstown,
occurred the death of Gilbert A. Wadsworth due to a heart condition. Mr.
Wadsworth would have been 51 years of age in August. He was employed by the
Sears Roebuck and Company, of Johnstown. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Effie
Wadsworth and four sons and two daughters: Dwight and Wayne Wadsworth, of
Johnstown, and Robert and Barrie Wadsworth, at home; Mrs. Eileen Davis, of
Wilmington, Delaware: and Patty Wadsworth, at home. Also surviving are three
grandchildren, his mother, Amanda Wadsworth, of Jeannette, and two sisters: Mrs.
Goldie Uplinger, of Jeannette, and Miss Verna Wadsworth, of Jeannette. Friends
will he received at the Picking Funeral Home, on Somerset Street, Johnstown.
Mrs. Wadsworth is a sister of Mrs. R. K. Richardson, of Derry and Mrs. W. R.
Singer, of Latrobe, A few years ago the family had resided in Derry. Funeral
services will be held at 2 pm Friday at the Picking Funeral Home, Somerset St.,
Johnstown. Interment will be made in the Grandview Cemetery, Johnstown.
