Tuesday Morning, October 29, 1918 [but page is misdated dated Saturday, October 26] WALLS John Walls died at his home in South Fork on Sunday following an attack of influenza. He was a well known merchant, being interested in the firm of Lane and Walls, and was aged 32. He was a member of the Masonic fraternity, Odd Fellows, Knights of Malta and P.O.S. of A. He was married seven years ago to Miss Lillie Lane, daughter of A. Lane of South Fork, who survives with one daughter, Mariam. He is also survived by his parents, two brothers and one sister - Edwin, in France, and Samuel and Dorothy of south Fork. Jean, the eldest daughter of the deceased, preceded him to the grave a week previous to his death. The funeral took place yesterday afternoon at 2.30; interment in South Fork cemetery.
