JOSEPH R. WARNER

Mr. Warner, 71, of Redbird, Portage RD 2, died Thursday, Jan. 25, 1990, at Lee Hospital, 
Johnstown. Mr. Warner retired as a coal miner. 

He was born Feb. 4, 1918, in Puritan, the son of Frank and Margaret Warner, and married 
Isabel McCabe, who preceded him in death.  

Surviving are two sons: Robert of Portage and Francis of Milwaukee, Wis.; seven 
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  Also surviving are six, brothers and sisters: Francis 
of Martindale, Edith Dorsch of Portage, Eugene of  Johnstown, Betty Klubant of Mount Union, 
Shelly Lutz of Benscreek, Lilly RD 1, and Margaret Yingling of Saltsburg. 

Mr. Warner was a member of the United Mine Workers of America. Friends will be 
received from, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Mark A. Serenko Funeral Home, Portage.
