Mr. Weis had been until recently a resident of Ebensburg, moving there from his native town, Philipsburg, and was aged fifty years. On the morning of his death he complained of being ill and on the advice of his wife, retreated to his room where he was found dead a few hours later. A physician was called and diagnosed the cause of death as heart disease. The deceased was a member of the Catholic Church from which burial was made. He is survived by his wife and six children, one of whom is Mrs. Harry L. Hinman of Altoona, who has left for the deceased's late home where she attended funeral services.
