Friday, December 11, 1903 Fatal Accident While Emmanuel Wentz was driving from Bakerton to Spangler last Thursday he was thrown out of the cart in which he was riding when his horse ran away. Mr. Wentz's head struck the track of the railroad at Victor No. 4 Mine and he was rendered unconscious, in which condition he remained for several hours. Mr. Wentz died Sunday. He was a well known character in the North of this county, having been in the business of [unreadable] for some years.
