Mrs. Mary Hoffman Wertz, mother of ex-Sheriff George M, Wertz, died at the home of 
her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Mineely on Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 2, 
in her 88th year from a stroke of paralysis.
