Friday, 1 Dec 1905 Volume 39, Number 47 Mrs. Ellen Williams Mrs. Ellen Williams of Carrolltown, widow of T. Scott Williams, founder of the Carrolltown NEWS, who died about 14 years ago, died this week from pneumonia. She was a sister of Thomas Peach of this place, who went to Carrolltown Tuesday. Four daughters survive her as follows: Anne, wife of C. J. Hogue of Cresson; Clara, wife of Augustine Lieb of Carrolltown; Misses Delrose and Ella, at home. Joseph Peach of Pittsburg and Thomas Peach of Ebensburg are brothers and Mrs. Mathias Shortencarrier of Spangler and Mrs. Joseph Plummer of Altoona are sisters. The funeral will be held at 9 o'clock this morning from St. Benedict's Catholic church at Carrolltown, with interment in the church cemetery.
