Friday, 17 May 1912 Volume 45, Number 20 Harvey Williams Death Ebensburg was stirred Tuesday by the news that Harvey Williams, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Williams of the county seat, had died in Allegheny county. Williams was 33 years of age and not robust in health. His parents and two brothers and two sisters survive: Spurgeon of Ebensburg; Benjamin and Mrs. O. E. Fleming of Cambria township and Mrs. A. M. Bennett of Belsano. The deceased graduated in 1905 from the Ebensburg high school and was employed in the Ebensburg MOUNTAINEER- HERALD office for a time. The remains were brought to Ebensburg for burial. Harvey William was liked by everyone who knew him. He was cheerful. He was cheerful despite the fact that bodily ailments frequently caused him much pain. No matter how badly he felt physically Harvey Williams always had a smile for folks. He never forgot that the sun was shining back of the clouds. He never forgot that there was bright side of things. He was good to his father and mother. He was clean morally. He was a worker. He was no drone. And this afternoon when they buried young Williams out in pretty Lloyd cemetery – when they covered the newly made grave with a great carpet of lovely blooms there wasn't one of those who stood there but that thought to himself or herself that one of the real apostles of cheer was gone. And every time an apostle of cheerfulness wings his way to the realms of the light it leaves a vacancy on earth that is hard to fill because there are so very, very few apostles of cheer.
