Wednesday, December 16, 1863 FATAL RAILROAD ACCIDENT An old man named Henry Wilson was killed on Friday night 5th inst., in the deep cut near Conemaugh Station on the Pennsylvania Railroad, by being struck by a passing freight train. Mr. W. was at the time performing the duties of Watchman on the road, in the absence of his son, and while his attention was attracted to a train coming east, he was struck by one going west, and instant death was the result. His remains were interred in Johnstown, on Sunday, attended to the grave by a large concourse of friends and brother Odd Fellows.
