Mrs. B. Wirtner Dead 
Aged Lady of Carrolltown Expired Thursday Morning in Her 
76th Year

Mrs. Benjamin Wirtner of Carrolltown and one of the oldest 
and best known residents of this section of the county, 
died at her home yesterday morning after an illness of 
several weeks.  She was aged seventy-five years and had 
lived in Carrolltown all her life.  Besides her husband, 
she is survived by a large number of children, among whom 
are the following:  The Rev. Father Anthony of St. Vincent; 
Father Boniface, Benjamin, Joseph, Aloysius, Mrs. Simon 
Hoover, Mrs. Josephine Mangold and Mrs. Harris B. Pattos.  
Several children died in infancy.  Funeral arrangements 
have not yet been made.
