BERNARD WISE

Died at Gallitzin on Monday, aged 84 years and 8 months.  He came to 
this country from Germany in 1840 and first resided in Hollidaysburg.  
He afterwards made his home in Loretto, and later in 1852 settled in 
what is now Gallitzin township.  He served in the late war and was a 
member of Sergeant Thos. McCloskey Post G.A.R. of Gallitzin.  He is 
survived by his wife, two sons and two daughters.  The remains will be 
interred in the Catholic cemetery at Summit tomorrow morning.
