	YOUNKINS--Edgar J., 78, Central City, R.D.1, died April 9, 
1978, at Windber Hospital. Born Jan. 15, 1900, in Gallitzin, son 
of William and Lillian (Bechtel) Younkins. Preceded in death by 
parents, and daughter, Joan. Survived by widow Lucy Mae Pebley, 
and these children: Genevieve, married to Clyde Frye, Lakeland, 
Fla., Bernice, wife of Charles Manges, Central City, Ivy, wife 
of Jack Gordon, New Paris, Ida, wife of Claude Gibbons, Central 
City R.D. 1, James, married to former Luella Jenkins, Akron 
Ohio, Delores, wife of Paul Litko, Akron, Ohio, Martha, wife of 
Donald Miller, New Paris, and Bernard C., married to former 
Doris Walker, Akron, Ohio; also 41 grandchildren and 27 great 
grandchildren.  Brother of Evelyn Straub, Audrey Zilch, Virginia 
Shaw and Paul all of Johnstown; Erma Calafiore and Leroy, both 
of Florida, and George, Washington. Friends received after 7 
p.m. Tuesday and after 1 p.m. Wednesday at Robert P. Mulcahy 
Funeral Home, Central City, where services will be held at 2 
p.m. Thursday, the Rev. Arthur Vespa. Burial, Daley Cemetery.
