Born April 3, 1917, in Shade Township, Somerset County, daughter of the late Herbert Sherman and Rhoda Mae (Thomas) Gearhart. Preceded in death by husband, Paul William; son Gary Paul, and sister Nona Krol. Survived by daughters: Joy Nesbitt, of Hanover, and Kay Tressler, Dallastown, Pa. Also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Sister of the Rev. Edgar W Gearhart. Grand Junction, Colo., and Dr. Wilbur H Gearhart, Fort Myers, Fla. Also survived by aunts, Erma Knisely, Rawling Md., and Emma Sheeder, Cambrook, Pa. Mildred attended the Church of Christ of Hanover. She and her husband, Paul, were founders of Richland Christian Church. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Henderson-Ketterer Funeral Home, Geistown, and from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Richland Christian Church, the Rev. Frank Brosius. Interment Richland Cemetery.
