ELIZA WHERRY ZAHM. Widow of George C. K. Zahm, died at her home in Ebensburg at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon. She was born in Bedford county, Oct. 9, 1823. At the age of 20 she was married to George G. K. Zahm, who died February 3, last. Twelve children came to bless the union. She is survived by eight children, as follows: Margaret A., who is the wife of F. H. Barker, ex-treasurer of Cambria county; Mary V., the widow of George W. Jones, of Ebensburg; Daniel H., a locomotive engineer on the Cresson & Ebensburg branch of the Pennsylvania railroad; Katie F., the wife of the Hon. A. V. Barker, president judge of Cambria county; Amelia, the wife of Ezekiel Wherry, Altoona; Alice, the wife of an Ebensburg lumber dealer and manufacturer; Hattie, the wife of A. W. Buck, the prominent banker of Ebensburg, and Matthew, who lives at home. The funeral will be held from the Presbyterian church next Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
