Ayres - Rose.

  Miss Mary Ethel Rose, daughter of Congressman-elect John M. Rose, of 
Johnstown, and Mr. James C. Ayres, of Fairmount, W.Va., were wedded at 
the First Presbyterian church of Johnstown, by the Rev. C. C. Hayes, 
D.D., Wednesday afternoon.  They departed immediately after a reception 
for eastern cities and Washington, D.C., where they will remain until 
after the inauguration.  The bridegroom is superintendent of the car 
wheel plant of the Cambria Steel company at Johnstown and his bride is 
prominent socially in several states.
