Engagement Announced  

  There will soon be few of them left - those genial young bachelors.  
John Bracken, the popular insurance man of Gallitzin, is the latest one 
to place himself in the power of the enemy.  The Pittsburg DISPATCH of 
Sunday last contained the following among its society notes:
  Announcement is made of the engagement of Miss Elizabeth A. Paul, 
daughter of Mrs. Mary A. Paul and the late Joseph Paul, of Fifth 
avenue, Carnegie, to Mr. John P. Bracken of Gallitzin, Pa.  The wedding 
will be an event of June.
