Friday, 19 Feb 1909 Volume 43, Number 8 A Pretty Wedding in the Lloyd Home A very pretty wedding was that Wednesday evening when at 6 o'clock Miss Ada Lloyd of Ebensburg became the bride of Frank Ernest Brackett of St. Michael. The Lloyd home was very prettily decorated for the occasion, smilax and dainty red tulips being used in profusion throughout the lower rooms. The Rev. Samuel G. Craig, pastor of the Ebensburg Presbyterian church, performed the ceremony. Immediately after the wedding, Mr. and Mrs. Brackett left overland for South Fork, where they boarded a train for the east. They will go direct to Palm Beach, Fla., and after a short stay there, will proceed to the Jamaicas for a stay of several weeks. Upon their return they will be at home at St. Michael. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fes Lloyd and has been very popular in Ebensburg. Mr. Brackett is superintendent of the operations of the Maryland Coal Company at St. Michael and is well known. The out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Frank E. Brackett and daughter, Miss Elizabeth Brackett, parents and sister of the groom of Cumberland, Md.; Mr. and Mrs. George Brackett of Graffton, W. Va., and Dr. and Mrs. Fitzgerald of South Fork.
