BUSCHKO - SASSANO

  Miss Ann Marie Sassano, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Joseph Sassano, sr., of 607 
Pennsylvania avenue, Sankertown, near Cresson, became the bride of Stephen Paul Buschko, 
son of Mr. and Mrs. John Buschko of Nanty-Glo on Saturday morning at a nuptial mass in 
the St. Francis Xavier's Catholic church, Cresson.  Rev. Father Morgan A. McDermott, 
pastor of the church, officiated.  Miss Carmella Discriscio of Altoona served as the maid 
of honor and Michael Buschko of Nanty-Glo, brother of the bridegroom, served as best 
man.  A wedding dinner was served at the Erculiani grill at Gallitzin to members of the 
immediate families following the ceremony.  A reception was also held at the San Pietro Di 
Roma Italian Mutual Beneficial society hall Saturday afternoon from 2 until 6 o'clock.  Mrs. 
Buschko attended Cresson High school.  Her husband is a graduate of NantyGlo High school 
and served several years with the armed forces in World war II.  He is employed as an 
accountant for the Costlow Motor company in Nanty-Glo, where the young couple will 
establish their future residence after a wedding trip to points along the Atlantic seaboard.
