Friday, 22 Dec 1905 Volume 39, Number 50 Davidson-Kratzer Nuptials Dr. Robert E. Davidson, son of Dr. Thomas J. Davidson of Ebensburg was married Wednesday evening at Glenfield near Pittsburg. The groom is now a resident of the Smoky city but formerly resided at Cambria's county seat. Concerning the nuptials Thursday morning's Pittsburg TIMES has this to say: Yesterday evening at 6 o'clock Nellie May Kratzer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. N. Kratzer of Glenfield was marred to Dr. Robert E. Davidson. The house was prettily decorated, the color scheme being white and gold and all the appointments were tasteful. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. S. J. Glass of the McClure Avenue Presbyterian church of Allegheny. The bride was gowned in a creation of white messaline satin trimmed with point lace and her veil was caught with lilies of the valley. She carried roses and was attended by Miss Ella Bossert, maid of honor; Miss Virginia Smith, Miss Elsie Martin, Miss Minnie Noble; and Lydia Davidson, bridesmaids; and Anna Marion Lear, flower girl, who is a cousin of the bride. The maids were gowned in white over yellow silk and the flower girl wore white point d'esprite and carried a garden hat filled with marguerites and white roses. The best man was Dr. Franklin S. Roberts and the ushers were Dr. Olin Barker of Johnstown and William McCague of Pittsburg. After the ceremony there was a supper at which covers were laid for 75. The bride and groom left for an extensive wedding trip to the East and on their return will be at home to their friends at No. 3617 Butler street.
