Friday, 1 May 1908 Volume 42, Number 18 Ferry-Fleck A very pretty home wedding took place Wednesday evening, April 22, at the home of Mrs. Ida L. Fleck where her daughter, Olive Nevada Fleck became the bride of Mr. Leroy Sigmund Ferry. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Dr. O. G. Roth. Miss Mary D. Good of Lancaster rendered the [word faded] wedding march as the bridal party entered the parlor, which was beautifully decorated for the occasion. Mr. E. R. Fleck gave the bride away, the ring ceremony being used. The attendants were Miss Olena Fleck, flower girl and Albert Fleck, ring bearer. The bride carried roses and orange blossoms, the latter having been sent from San Jose, California, by friends for the occasion. The couple received many beautiful and costly presents. Miss Fleck is one of Allegheny's most esteemed young ladies lately employed in the office of W. B. Hicks. The groom is a well known young man of Altoona and is employed in the blacksmith shop of the PRR. Guests were present from Lancaster, Philadelphia, Pittsburg and Ebensburg. After a ten days trip to eastern cities, Mr. and Mrs. Ferry will be at home to their many friends at 506 Eighth avenue, where they will make their home for a time. (Altoona TRIBUNE) Mr. Ferry is a nephew of Mr. and Mrs. J. N. Sipes and a grandson of Mr. M. J. Bailey of Ebensburg. The MOUNTAINEER HERALD returns thanks for a portion of wedding cake and extend best wishes.
