Friday, 16 Mar 1906 Volume 40, Number 10 Howell-Evans Miss Jennie Evans, who until recently was one of Ebensburg's popular school teachers, was united in the bonds of marriage, Thursday at 12:30 o'clock to Edward Howell, son of Prof. and Mrs. Wm. Howell of South Ebensburg. The ceremony was performed at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John J. Evans, well known residents of the county capital, the Rev. J. Twyson Jones, pastor of the Ebensburg Congregational church, officiating. The ceremony was witnessed by only a few of the immediate relatives of the contracting parties, and a number of friends of the bride and groom. After a sumptuous wedding dinner, the happy couple departed on the 3:40 train for the east where they will spend several weeks on a wedding tour. A number of very handsome and useful presents were received by the bride and groom. After their return of the happy couple from their wedding tour, they will begin housekeeping in Johnstown, where the groom is employed with the Johnstown Supply Company.
