James, Ebensburg correspondent of the Johnstown DEMOCRAT, and also an editorial writer for that paper and Miss Vera Williams, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Williams of the county seat, were quietly married yesterday morning at 6:45 o'clock at the home of the bride's parents on Horner Street. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Samuel G. Craig, pastor of the Presbyterian Church. Immediately after the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. James left for a short eastern trip. Upon their return they will be at the Metropolitan Hotel for a time and then take up their residence on Horner Street. Mr. James came to Ebensburg from Johnstown in August of 1908 and has been here since that time. He is a son of the late Rev. Dr. Owen James, for a number of years, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Johnstown. His mother and a number of brothers now live in Scranton. Miss Williams or Mrs. James, as she now is, is well known in Ebensburg and is very popular. Her father and mother are among the town's best known citizens. Until recently Miss Williams was stenographer for Attorney Harvey Roland. Both of the young people have a number of friends in Cambria County.
