Owens-Lichty 

Miss Bessie Owens, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan Owens of the East Ward 
and Mr. Benjamin G. Lichty, of Cresson, were united in marriage by the Rev. W. Bryn 
Jones, pastor of the Ebensburg C. M. Church at the Owens home at noon yesterday. 
The attendants were Miss Edith Owens of Cambria township, a cousin of the bride, and 
Frank Kerner of Cresson, a friend of the bridegroom. Mr. Lichty is a stenographer in the 
employ of the PRR in its Cambria & Clearfield offices at Cresson and the bride is one of 
Ebensburg's most estimable young ladies.  The couple departed on the 1:52 train for a 
honeymoon trip through the east and will in the near future begin housekeeping at 
Cresson.
