Friday, 8 Dec 1905 Volume 39, Number 48 Marsh-Tibbott Modestly conducted and quietly appointed was the wedding which on Wednesday evening, Nov. 29th, joined for life Miss Goldie A., only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Festus Tibbott of Ebensburg and George Marsh, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Marsh. The ceremony was performed at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. John F. Tibbott, High street, grandparents of the bride in the presence of immediate families only at 5:30 p.m. by the Rev. Mr. Oldham, pastor of the Christian church of this place, of which the bride is a member. Miss Bertha Marsh, sister of the groom, was maid of honor and Alton Tibbott of Altoona, brother of the bride, acted as best man. After a simple, but impressive ceremony, hearty congratulations were offered and all were invited to the dining room where a sumptuous feast availed, covers being laid for 14. A. E. Marsh, father of the groom, invited all the guests to his cozy and comfortable home in Cambria township on the following evening to partake of a Thanksgiving supper in honor of the bride and groom. The jolly time and grand feast will certainly long be remembered by all present, who and will agree that the host and hostess are all right entertainers. Among those present were the Rev. Mr. Oldham; Mr. and Mrs. Festus Tibbott; Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Port; Mr. and Mrs. Addison Pryce; Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Parrish; Misses Bertha and Emma Marsh; Messrs. Alton and Ray Tibbott and Mr. Oscar Lloyd.
