Friday, 27 Oct 1911 Volume 45, Number 43 A Young Man's Problem Conemaugh folks were much interested Monday to learn that Clinton J. Miller, a son of Rev. C. C. Miller, pastor of the Conemaugh U. B, Church and his young classmate in High School, [paper torn, first name missing] Hoffman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Hoffman of Fourth Street, had eloped to Cumberland Saturday and were wedded there. The same people are now interested to note the effect on young Mr. Miller. He is 20 and his bride is 17. He has not had to "hustle for a living" so far, but now that he has made a man's choice the community expects him to show that he can earn a man's way. Until he has made his plans, Mr. Miller and his bride will probably reside with the groom's parents.
