Friday, 15 Nov 1907 Volume 41, Number 45 Married by Justice Waters It is not often that one justice of the peace has the honor of performing the marriage ceremony of another justice of the peace. Such, however, was the honor of Justice A. J. Waters of this place early Wednesday morning when Justice J. D. Spicher of Gettysburg, Indiana County, and Matilda A. Barkley of Arcadia, Indiana county, appeared at his office in the Barker building and expressed their desire to be married. Justice Waters is prompt in all business pertaining to his office so he proceeded at once to tie the ribbons which made them husband and wife. They had time to attend the morning session of the teacher's institute.
