Strayer – McGuire

Mr. and Mrs. Bernard M. McGuire of 149 Beech street, Cresson, announce the marriage of their 
daughter, Phyllis, to Robert Strayer, son of Mrs. Ada Strayer of Johnstown, Nov. 13 in St. 
Matthew's cathedral, Washington, D. C.  Rev. Father John Cartright performed the impressive 
ceremony.  The bride is a graduate of Cresson High school and had been employed as a cashier 
at the Fort Stanwix hotel, Johnstown.  Her husband, a veteran of World war II, is employed 
by the veterans administration.  The couple will reside in Washington, D. C.
