Friday, 22 Sep 1911 Volume 45, Number 38 Philips-Sutton Wedding One of the most brilliant weddings ever solemnized in Ebensburg or vicinity was that last Saturday afternoon of John Blair Sutton and Miss Margaret Crossman Phillips, both of Pittsburg, but who spend their summers in Ebensburg. Two special coaches bearing friends and relatives of the contracting parties arrived here Saturday from Pittsburg. The ceremony took place on the lawn surrounding the summer home of Mr. and Mrs. Phillips, Clogheen Manor. The lawn was covered with rugs and decorated with flowers and potted plants. Miss Mary Whittier Shields of Sewickley was maid of honor. Miss Oliveretta Singer Sutton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stansbury Sutton of Pittsburg, was flower girl. Robert Woods Sutton was best man. John Philip Woodbridge, son of Mr. and Mrs. Norman S. Woodbridge, was ring bearer.
