Friday, 29 Sep 1905 Volume 39, Number 38 Wakefield-Kerr Miss Sidney Amine Kerr, daughter of Attorney and Mrs. Ellis G. Kerr and Warren Taylor Wakefield, son of Capt. and Mrs. Alexander Wakefield of the Valley Pike, were married Friday evening at Hillerest, the pretty home of the bride's parents in the Eighth ward, Johnstown. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Dr. C. C. Hays, pastor of the First Presbyterian church in the presence of about 100 relatives and friends. The bride who looked very lovely in a gown of white liberty satin was given away by her father, while her matron of honor was her sister, Mrs. C. M. Lloyd. The bridesmaids were Miss Lyde Fernley and Miss Elfrieda Krieger. Joseph Stackhouse was best man, while B. H. Powell of Cresson and T. H. Kerr, of Pittsburg, the latter a brother of the bride were the ushers. Mr. and Mrs. Wakefield left on the 11:20 train for a wedding trip east. Upon their return they expect to go to housekeeping in the Eighth ward, Johnstown. Among the out-of-town guests at the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Joseph H. Kerr of Uniontown; Mr. and Mrs. Johnson Mitchell of Indiana; Miss Mary Thompson of Ebensburg; Miss Bessie Hosmer of Gardner, Mass.; Mrs. Amanda Spangler and Miss Cora Spangler of Somerset; Mrs. William Lackey of Buffalo, N. Y.; Mrs. J. C. Fox of Chicago, Ill.; Miss Olive Barnett of Hillside and T. J. Kerr of Ligonier.
