The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ___________________________________________________________ Susquehanna Township, Cambria County, PA, Vol. 5, Page 612 Last Will of Voluntine DUM In the name of God Amen I Voluntine Dum of Susquehanna Township, Cambria County and State of Pennsylvania being sick and weak in body but of sound mind memory and understanding (praise God for it) And considering the certainty of death and the uncertainty of the time thereof and to the end I may be better prepaired to leave this world whenever it shall pleas God to call me hence do therefore make & declared this my last will and Testament in manner following that is to say I give and bequeath to my daughter Sarah Dum one sufficient Bed and bedding and to have the choice of the cows, And the rest of my property that is to say my moveable property considering of cattle & hogs farming utensils and household and kitchen furniture, Grain &c to be appraised and sold at Public Sale and the monies thereof to be applied in the following manner as I shall Direct my Executors hereinafter my funeral expenses to be paid, and all my just debts and I give and bequeath to my son Thomas Dum the sum of fifteen dollars and to my son George Dum the sum of fifteen dollars and after all the above expences is paid the residue of the monies is to be devided as follows, so my sons Solomon Dum, Daniel Dum and Sarah Dum share and share alike (I have no claim to the horse as the boys have bought him). I do nominate and appoint for my lawfull Executor my son Solomon Dum. Witness my hand this fourteenth day of June A.D. one thousand eight hundred and thirty six. Storm Register of the probate of Wills and Granting Letters of Administration in and for the County of Cambria aforesaid Americus Bender and George Mayer two of the subscribing witnesses to the within Instrument of writing and upon their solemn oaths do depose and say that they were personally present and saw and heard the within named Voluntine Dum, deceased, sign, seal, publish and eclare the within Instrument of writing as for his last Will and Testament that at the time of doing thereof he the said Voluntime Dum the Testator was of sound and desposing mind & memory to the best of deponents knowledge and belief and that they, subscribed their names as Witnesses thereto in his presence and in the presence of each other and at his request.
