Strauss, Register of the Probate of Wills, and granting Letters of Administration in and for said County, personally came Charles I. Coleman who, being duly sworn according to law, doth depose and say that John W. Michaels late of the Township of Summerhill in said County of Cambria, died on or about the 16th day of June 1904, at about 6 o'clock p.m., intestate, leaving to survive him a Widow Lydia Michaels, who resides in the said Township of Summerhill, and the following named children, viz: Maggie Figart of Altoona; Thomas W. Michaels; Ellis Michaels; Blanche Michaels; John Michaels; Talmage Michaels; Helen Michaels; Martha Michaels; Mary Emery, a daughter of Mary Michaels nee Michaels. C. I. Michaels late of Summerhill Twp., in the County of Cambria and State of Pennsylvania, deceased. To Charles I. Coleman, Administrator of said Estate: I, Lydia Michaels, widow of said deceased, do elect to retain the hereinafter mentioned personal property of said deceased, to the value of three hundred dollars, and request that it may be appraised and set apart according to law. Dated November 14, 1904. Lydia Michaels, Widow Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Cambria County, SS: Before me, a Justice of the Peace in and for said County, G. W. Hoyer and H. A. Brown, whom on their solemn oath, do respectively depose and say, that they will well and truly and without prejudice or partiality, value and appraise and set apart the property of said deceased, to the value of three hundred dollars, elected to be retained Lydia Michaels, widow of said deceased, for the use of herself and family, and in all respects perform their duty as appraisers, to the best of their skill and judgment.
