Strauss Register of the Probate of Wills and Granting Letters of Administration in and for said County, personally came Isaac Strayer who, being duly affirmed according to law, doth depose and say that Daniel Strayer, late of White Township, _______, in said county, died on or about the 21st day of February, 1903, at about 1:30 o'clock A.M. Affirmed and subscribed this 13th day of March, A.D. 1903 William H. Strauss, Registrar (Signed) Isaac Strayer [WILL OF DANIEL STRAYER] I Daniel Strayer of White Township in the County of Cambria, and State of Pennsylvania, being of sound mind, memory and understanding, do make and publish this my last will and testament, hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made. Item. I give and bequeath to my beloved wife, Elizabeth M. Strayer all the personal property I own or have an interest in, on or belonging to the farm, upon which I now reside, (excepting the Black Mare Rody). Also I give, devise and bequeath to her, my said wife, her dower interest in the one hundred and twenty seven acres, of land I own, adjoining lands of Joseph Wyland, and land of my wife (E.M.Strayer) James Stephenson and others-for her to retain said interest so long as she may desire, and until such time as she may wish to relinquish her said dower interest. Item. I give and bequeath to each of the two children of John W. Strayer Dec'd- (Rolla Strayer and Do?s Strayer) each, one hundred dollars. Item. I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary A. Baughman, Isaac Strayer, Annie Glass, and heirs of Minnie Beers Dec'd, viz. Edward-Roy-Mabel-Frank-Suffie-Lillie-the above described land and farm of one hundred and twenty seven acres-The said farm to be farmed or controlled by my Executors hereinafter mentioned. The hay and grain now on the farm and the Black Mare, to be sold, and with all money in the bank, the proceeds to go to Gates Heirs, as payment on said land, and the yearly proceeds to be applied the same way, until the Gates Heirs, has been paid in full, and after payment of said Gates Heirs, the yearly proceeds of said farm to go share and share alike to my children and heir as above set out. I also direct that my executors are not to sell said farm or land or any part thereof for a period of five years after my decease. Item. I give and bequeath to said Gates Heirs Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars that I put into the place on which I now reside, as purchase money, for my wife, when first payment was made, said money to draw legal interest, and the same to be paid by my wife E.M. Strayer, to the Executors of the said Gates Heirs or to the Gates Heirs direct as they determine. I also order my Executors hereinafter named, to set apart fifty dollars, as a permanent fund, to go on interest, and the accrued interest annually to be used to keep in order the graves of my wife and three children, buried in Suiger's Graveyard near Johnstown, PA. I do hereby make and ordain Isaac Strayer, and John W. Baughman, Executor's of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I Daniel Strayer, the Testator, have to this my will and testament, written on one sheet of paper, set my hand and seal thirtyfirst day of July A.D. one thousand nine hundred and two. Signed, sealed, published and declared by the above named Daniel Strayer as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us, who have here unto subscribed our names at his request, as witnesses thereto, in the presence of the said testator, and of each other. Baughman do affirm that as the Executors of Daniel Strayer late of White Township deceased, we will well and truly administer the goods and chattels, rights and credits of said deceased, agreeably to law, and that we will comply with the provisions of the law relating to collateral inheritances _______.
