        A letter dated Feby 7, 1927 in answer to mine from Mrs Laura Croll Welch widow of
  Howard J. Welch see page 266 this book says she went to Hazleton Pa & got copy of the
  Reuben Welch (her father in law) bible & took the entire record which is as follows:  She
  spells Airgood as used by me Page 257 et seq as:

  2. Grim Joel Ambrose Welch born in Tamaqua Pa June 20, 1853

  4. Elias Welch born in Germania Potter Co Pa Oct 5, 1857
  5. Elmira Elizabeth Welch born Apr 22, 1860
  6. Howard Johnson Welch born Jany 2, 1863

  Grim Joel Ambrose Welch died Apr 3, 1854 age 9 mos 14 days
  Leah Ehrgood died Feby 18, 1855 aged 45 years 10 mos 9 days
  Elias William Welch died May 16, 1860 aged 2 yrs 7 mos & 10 days
  Reuben Welch died July 18, 1864 in the Soldiers Hospital New York aged 38 yrs having
  served his country during the rebellion.
  John Welch father of Reuben Welch died July 6, 1865 aged 75 yrs
  John Franklin Welch died Sept 9, 1902 aged 47 yrs 8 mos & 5 days
  Levi Xavier Henry Welch died Nov 3, 1923 aged 75 yrs & 13 days (not properly calculated

  Howard Johnson Welch died Apr 22, 1924 aged 61 yrs 3 mos 21 days

  My mother's maiden name was Sarah Ann Wood born Nov 8th & died Mch 8, 1900.
  My name is Laura Croll Welch born Jany 1st 1867.
