Obituary: Saturday March 28, 1908 

Thighman Cragle died at his Home in Quakake Valley Monday morning from 
general debility. He was 81 years old and was one of the first settlers in that 
valley, where he was engaged in farming for many years. During recent 
years he enjoied daily walk to Beaver Meadow, a distance of three miles over the 
mountain. He was one of the best know men throughout that region he is 
survived by four sons Frank, John, William ,and George of Quakake and 
two daughters one of Deis and the other of Quakake . The funeral will be 
held on Wednesday with intermentment in Quakake Valley.
