BLAIR, an old veteran of the Civil War, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. William BOTTORF of east Lamb street, at 1:30 o'clock on Wed. afternoon. Mr. BLAIR made his home with another daughter at Snow Shoe Intersection and on Sunday came to Bellefonte for a visit. On Tuesday he was seized with a violent attack of dysentery and died on Wednesday. He was a native of Centre County and was born March 6th, 1836, making his age at death 80 years, 5 months and 3 days. His wife, who before her marriage was Miss Susan LAIRD, died eight years ago, but surviving him are the following children: Mrs. Mary HARPER, of State College; David BLAIR, of Pittsburgh; Mrs. William BOTTORF, of Bellefonte, and Mrs. Mabel ESTRIGHT, of Wingate. The remains will be taken to Wingate today and the funeral held at ten o'clock tomorrow morning. The services at the house will be in charge of Dr. E. H. YOCUM and burial will be made at Unionville.
