All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/centre/ ________________________________________________ The Centre Democrat 25 February 1938 Benjamin Franklin Cramer, well known retired farmer, and native of Centre County, died suddenly at his home near Tusseyville at 7:30 o'clock Saturday night, of a heart condition. Although he had been in failing health for some time, he had not been bedfast and his death came unexpectedly. Mr. Cramer was a son of John and Christian Kustenbauter Cramer and was born in this county on February 24, 1855, making his age at time of death 83 years, 11 months and 25 days. He was united in marriage with Sadie Dietzel who survives with three sons, Elmer, Charles and William Cramer, all of Altoona; a brother, William Cramer, of Lemont, and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Hoy and Mrs. Elsie Corl, both of State College. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the Goodhart funeral home at Centre Hall, in charge of the Rev D. R. Keener of the Reformed church at Centre Hall. Interment was in the Tusseyville cemetery. Note: Death date: February 19, 1938 Additional Comments: Benjamin's first wife and mother of his children, Fietta Lila (Amstrong)Cramer, predeceased him.
