She was born Dec. 7, 1938 in Altoona, a daughter of the late Lloyd V. "Bucky" Welch and Dorothy Flora (Gummo) Welch who survives. She was married Sept. 15, 1969 in Huntingdon to Kenneth L. Emery. She is survived by her husband of Centre Hall; three daughters: Penny Morsillo of Tempe, Arizona, Shelly Emery of Elizabethtown and Lori Habecker of Middletown; five grandchildren; her mother, Dorothy F. Welch of Tyrone; three sisters and two brothers: Joyce Zimmerman of Woodland, Clyde L. Welch of Greenwood, Mary B. Wyland of South Carolina, Larry C. Welch of Houtzdale and Polly A. Bilger of Tyrone and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter Becky Jo Welch, her father and brother, Donald W. Welch. She was a homemaker, enjoyed crossword puzzles and collecting magnetic markers. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 22, 2006 at 2 p.m. at the Derman Funeral Home, Inc., Tyrone, with Pastor Rick Gilbaugh of the Calvary Bible Church Centre Hall and Eulogy by daughter Penny Morsillo. Interment will follow at Baughman Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Geisinger House of Care, Danville, Pa. 17822.
