Eyer, of 766 Oatman st., York, former widely-known resident of Centre County, died in the Veterans Administration Hospital at Lebanon yesterday at 6:30 a.m. He was born in Tyrone, May 29,1893, the son of Howard and Luticia Minnich Eyer. He is survived by his wife, the former Sue Finkbinder, and a daughter, Mrs. Lewis Newman, York, and a brother, Donald, of Dalton. He was a veteran of World War I army service, a member of the Gray Methodist Church, the American Legion No. 127 and the Lincoln Fire Co., all of York; the BPOE No. 1094, and a lifelong member of the Undine Fire Co., both of Bellefonte. Funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Wetzler Funeral home, Bellefonte, with the Rev. Donald H. G. Miller, officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Bellefonte.
