All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/centre/ ________________________________________________ HARNISH Miss Velma Harnish, daughter of George and Clara Harnish of Snow Shoe, Center county, died at the Altoona hospital on Sunday morning, at 10:45 o'clock, death being caused by influenza, following an illness that extended over a period of one month. She was born in February, 1899, and is survived by her parents and the following brothers and sisters, all of Snow Shoe: Lloyd, Merrill and Furst; Bernice, Nannie and Zella. She was a member of the Third United Brethren church of this city, where she has been making her home for some time, being employed as cashier in the Woolworth five and ten cent store. The body has been prepared for burial by Funeral Director Otto Gilden, and will be taken to Snow Shoe on the 12:00 train this afternoon where services and interment will be made on Tuesday.
