HURLEY Widow of former Centre County Sheriff William Hurley of Bellefonte, died Tuesday at the home of her daughters, Mrs. Frederick Cory and Miss Hazel Hurley of Hendersonville, N.C. In addition to her daughters, another daughter, Mrs. Frederick F. Hallowell of Bellefonte, survives. Mrs. Hurley was born in Bedford Jan. 18, 1866, a daughter of John and Elizabeth Dull Long [should read John Long Replogle and Elizabeth (Dull) Replogle - ed.], and was a member of the Lutheran church of Bellefonte. EMMA REPLOGLE HURLEY Mrs. Emma Replogle Hurley of Bellefonte died at the home of her daughters, Mrs. Frederick Cory and Miss Hazel M. Hurley at Hendersonville, N.C. Tuesday at 11 a.m. She had been ill for three months. Mrs. Hurley was born in Bedford, Jan. 18, 1866, a daughter of John L. and Elizabeth Dull Long [should read John Long Replogle and Elizabeth (Dull) Replogle - ed.] Her husband, William E. Hurley, former Centre County sheriff, preceded her in death. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Cory and Miss Hurley of Hendersonville and Mrs. Frederick F. Hallowell of Bellefonte. Two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Bellefonte. Private services will be held at the Hallowell home in Bellefonte Sunday at 2:30 p.m. with Dr. Clarence E. Arnold officiating. Burial will be made in the Union Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hallowell home this evening and tomorrow afternoon and evening. Friends are requested to omit flowers.
