Knarr, a well known and respected citizen of Milesburg, died suddenly at his home Wednesday morning at 5.30 o'clock, following a heart attack. He was a son of Joshua and Margaret Highland Knarr and was born in Union county and died on the 78th anniversary of his birth. In June, 1882, he was united in marriage with Miss Sarah C. Cramer, who survives with two sons and a daughter, Perry Knarr of Altoona, Frank of Bellefonte and Maud, at home. One brother also survives, Morgan Knarr of Mifflinburg. Mr. Knarr was a member of the Bald Eagle lodge, I.O.O.F., No. 410, having been a member of that organization for over fifty years. He had also been a member of the Methodist church for forty years. Mr. Knarr was a carpenter by occupation and up until the time of his death was employed at the Morris L. Claster planing mill in Bellefonte. Funeral services will be conducted at his home Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, in charge of Dr. W. E. Ruth, assisted by Rev. M. C. Piper. Burial will be made in the Trecziyulny cemetery.
