Lewis, Jr. Ricardo Percival "Rico" Lewis Jr., 13, of 830 Washington Ave., Hagerstown, Md., died unexpectedly at 7:26 a.m. at the Washington County Hospital, Hagerstown, Md., on Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2000. Funeral services were held Dec. 30 at the Robert D. Heath Funeral home, Mount Union, with the Rev. I. S. Owens officiating. Interment will be in the Haven Rest Memorial Park, RR1 Shirleysburg. Born March 16, 1987, in State College, Centre County, he was the son of Ricardo P. Lewis Sr., who lives in Washington DC and Coreen (Trice) Lewis, who lives in Hagerstown, where her son resided. Surviving along with his parents are two sisters and a brother: Felicia B. Trice and Maela L. Lewis, both of Hagerstown, and Robo Vaughn of Mount Union. Also surviving are the following grandparents: Eula Mae Trice, Mount Union; Martha Bernard, Colon, Panama; Elsa Lewis, Willingboro, N.J., and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his infant sister, Jessica Mae Trice, and by his grandfathers, John Jefferson Trice and Percival A. Lewis. Ricardo was currently enrolled in the eighth grade at Western Heights Middle School, Hagerstown. He was an avid fan of Penn State football and basketball, WWF wrestling and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Ricardo enjoyed singing and dancing and especially enjoyed recording artists "Crisco" (Siscio) and R. Kelly. His favorite sayings were "puppies" and "baby got back." He was a member of Challenger Bowling, Hagerstown; a member of the Huntingdon County chapter of the NAACP and a member of the Mount Union Drill Team. Ricardo participated in the Special Olympics. He attended the Gateway Ministry Church in Williamsport, Md. The Valley Log, Orbisonia, Pa., January 3, 2001
