Lucas, Yarnell, died at the home of his son, Orvis, February 25, after two weeks illness. He was born November 27, 1863, in Runville, the son of Morgan and Nancy Jane (Poorman) Lucas, both deceased. He was married to Miss Elmine Brower, January 13, 1884, who died in 1930. He is survived by the following children: Clayton, Milesburg; Orvis, Yarnell; Mrs. Edna Fetzer and Russell, Tyrone; Arthur and Mrs. John Gearhart, Williamsport; these brothers and sisters: Mrs. Martin Brower, Reuben Lucas, Philipsburg; Mrs. Rebecca Griffith, Long Island, New York; twenty-seven grandchildren; and thirty-one great- grandchildren. Funeral services were held today at 2:30 p.m. at the home of his son, Orvis. Burial was in the Advent Cemetery, Bogg Township. The Reverend Leonard E. Ritchey of Runville officiated.
