He was aged 69 years and was a native of Centre county. He was married in 1867 to Miss Emma L. Craine, sister of Building Inspector M. W. Craine of this city who survive with these children: A. L. N. B., Myra C., of Altoona, and Calvin C., of Pittsburgh. He also leaves one sister, Mrs. Lizzie Grazier of Warriors Mark. He was a member of the Presbyterian church of Upper Spruce Creek valley. He also served his country in the Civil War. The funeral will take place Friday morning at 10.30 o'clock. Interment in Graysville cemetery. Altoona Mirror, November 20, 1913
