MRS. MARY MURPHY 
 
  Mrs. Mary Murphy, prominent Centre county resident, died at her home 
at Julian on Thursday morning at one o'clock following an extended 
illness with dropsy.
  Mrs. Murphy was a member of the Methodist church and took a prominent 
part in church and community activities.  Her husband, Michael Murphy, 
died on January 9, 1932.
  She is survived by these brothers and sisters: Mrs. Anna 
Johnsonbaugh, Braddock; Andrew Straw, Newark, Ohio; Edward Straw, 
Butler; Daniel Straw and Mrs. Marcella Beals, Julian.   
  Funeral services will be held at the home on Sunday afternoon at two 
o'clock, conducted by Rev. A. D. Sowers, Jr., followed by burial in Dix 
Run cemetery.
