On Sunday morning at four o'clock Mrs. Susan A. Nolan died at the home of her nephew, John Glenn, on Bald Eagle avenue, near Thirteenth street. Mrs. Nolan, whose home had been at Curtin, Centre county, came to Tyrone about six weeks ago to make her home with her nephew, Mr. Glenn. Last Tuesday she contracted a heavy cold which terminated in pneumonia. She continued to grow weaker until she passed away at the above time. Mrs. Susan A. Nolan who was a daughter of the late Jeremiah and Margaret Glenn, was born March 17, 1830, at Curtin, Centre county, and always resided there until she moved to Tyrone six weeks ago. She was a most excellent Christian woman and a devoted member of St. John's Catholic church of Bellefonte. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Maggie Dexter, of Washington, D.C. Funeral Wednesday at 9 a.m. at St. Matthew's church. Interment at Bellefonte. The Tyrone Herald, Thursday, March 20, 1913
