She studied with Cobden, one of the country's f oremost painters of roses and with Grace S. MARTIN of Philadelphia. Memb er of Ceramic Art League of Philadelphia, the Women's Society of Christia n Service of the Howard Methodist church and the Howard Civic Club. Dire ctor of the Centre County Library. Two sisters, Mrs. Mabel IRVINS of How ard and Mrs. Emma CASEMAN of Sullivan county and two brothers Eugene O., New York City and George R. of Philadelphia survive. Burial Schenck Ceme tery.
